Wonderful Things Blog Tour, Bonnie Christine and Art Gallery Fabrics

11:13 PM

I am so thrilled to be a part of this Wonderful Things Blog Tour, featuring some truly wonderful fabrics designed by the multi-talented and brilliant Bonnie Christine.

Whenever customers, or students, ask me where I find my beautiful fabrics, I am so excited to tell them about Art Gallery Fabrics. They are definitely my favorite fabrics, designed by amazing artists and printed on quality fabric. You can not go wrong with Art Gallery Fabrics!

I was lucky enough to get my hands on these two beautiful fabrics: Aquarelle Study Wash, and Splendid Oath Rain!

This fabric makes me think of sitting on the porch sipping on peach lemonade iced herbal tea, eating apricot pineapple jam by the spoonful and feeling the hot summer sun on my cheeks.. these are seriously some of the most wonderful things. I live in the Seattle area, so you know I can't get enough of these perfect summery prints!

I decided to use them to make a lovely little dress for my clothing line, Tiny Tot Threads. It was a hard decision to make, because this fabric is just so good, I want to use it to make ALL THE THINGS! But, after sewing this little number, I am positive it was the right choice. I confess, I know I must reeeeeally love a piece when it travels all over the house with me for a few days, just so I can stare at it spontaneously. Yup, that definitely happened with this one. I just love staring at this creation. Can you blame me!? These fabrics are just smashing.

I am seriously obsessed! Next, I want to make one in my size!

If you want to make this dress yourself, I made a 3M PDF pattern that you can download with this link! I would love to see your finished product, if you do give it a try.
